Has anyone here heard or known about this French speaker? If so, how does it work with the NAIM amplifier? The question is specifically directed to my friend frenchrooster.

Hi my friend. I know only one here to have these speakers, it’s @glevethan . He has the 5SE. But with Dartzeel. Maybe he has tried with Naim, I don’t know.

Stenheim is a Swiss manufacturer based in the canton of Valais.
It is a small company that produces loudspeakers cabinets made from thick aluminium.
Their drivers are custom-made by supplier and prioritise high efficiency.
I own a pair of ‘Two’s’ and a pair of ‘Three’s’.
I love the combination with Naim, whilst bearing in mind that the set-up requires meticulous attention to detail
I know the CEO, Jean-Pascal, well; he’s a true enthusiast and a wonderful person

I heard the Stenheim 3 speakers at a Swiss hifi show a few years ago and I was very impressed with the huge wall of sound produced. Price was also fairly impressive… Nice looking speaker but I would hate to see a scratch on the aluminium panels.
For several years I’ve been wondering how Naim and Stenheim would work together; thanks for your post. To be more specific, what Naim components are you using with the Alumine 2 and 3?

I usually drive the two with a classic 250 and NC 222 but now I’m testing a CH precision I1
The three are drived by a classic NAP300 hicap NAC 282 NPX300 NSS333
I used Melco switch and an HDX ssd server and Synology storage
Wires are custom made by a Swiss manufacturer
I also use torus power conditionner

There is no Swiss language as such, Switzerland has several official national languages, of which French is one. (I believe German and Italian are equally regarded as official languages.)
We have four official languages in Switzerland so in order of importance
Swiss German (it’s not German) with several different versions
French
Italian
Romanche

Naim serie 500 coupled with Stenheim three give you a high and medium high range very precise and detailed the low and medium low frequencies are rich but dry in a positive term for a comprehensive listening . Tons are really naturals so you feel a lot of emotions. The high precision and natural give you a lot of details which is very musical. The SE version is provided with internal wiring from the same manufacturer I use for. I recommend to choose this upgrade.
I suggest you to have a listening experience with Stehneim.
Your system could be drive easily a pair of five but the investment is not the same step.
