I was looking forward to seeing some comment on this show which I went to. Loved the Grimm Audio, Kerr Acoustics and Radiant Acoustics rooms but sadly not much else sounded good to my ears. Including the Naim/Focal room which sounded shrill and harsh. I had trouble explaining to my wife why I’ve been a Naim fan for decades. Did anyone else go, and hear this?

As a side note, the Radiant Acoustics Clarity 66 were driven by flagship Marantz electronics and sounded sublime. Very interested in these.

Earlier this year I auditioned the Radiant Acoustics Clarity 66s, which were driven by a Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 streaming amplifier, and it didn’t leave a lot to be desired. It made me ponder whether all those expensive separates and fancy interconnects truly deliver any meaningful improvements.
