I used to live just to the right of there Avenue des Nerviens overlooking that very arch and the parc du cinquantennaire.

My daughter (and granddaughter
) live on Rue des Francs, so very close. This is on the way to our Airbnb near Montgomery.
I’ve got to like and feel somewhat at home in this general area over the past 4 years visiting.
They move to Hoeilaart in 3 weeks (2nd child on the way) so that will be a different experience to Brussels.

I absolutely loved living in Brux. Used it as a base for 6 years working throughout the EU. Multi cultural, particularly around that area. Small squares and cafes, smart restaurants and an easy metro in to the centre. Fondly remembered.
