SuperLine with 52PS?

I know a NAC52 can be powered with a SuperCap, even if the NAC was originally partnered with a 52PS. Can a SuperLine be powered with a 52PS?

Not really, no. It can be done via the powered AUX2 of a NAC52 powered by a 52PS, but not directly by the 52PS.

As an aside, there were some old 52PS units that were used by staff at Naim for powering Prefixes - I had one myself, and it was very good indeed. They had to be modified to do so and it’s not an “official” modification.

Slightly off topic, i’ll never forget the sound of a Transfiguration Orpheus L through a Supercap powered Prefix. Such a memorable sound.
