Less ‘together’, less musically coherent somehow. Difficult to describe.
I really wanted to like it as an upgrade and, each time, left it in place for weeks…but removing it let the music flow better. To my mind.

G, I don’t thing you are alone, others have said the same thing they prefer the bare SN2 w/o the HiCap, others have said they prefer the XS 2 over the SN2. Different folks, different set of ears and taste in the sound they prefer. Its all good!

I removed my psu from SN2 and am happy.
Terrified of trying a 555ps with the NDX2 though as once I’ve heard it…
