Thanks all , it’s certainly some view they / we are very lucky . I’m just back to London but will see if i can find any other pics of the window view .
marvelous house! i am jealous ![]()
Echoing what everyone else has said, lovely room and a tantalising teaser on that lovely view.
I’m jealous too …!!
why?
Well its my parents place but every time I go I feel envy . I think I would have much bigger speakers in that room though …! : ))
Think how nice a Statement and PMC Fenestrias would look in that room.
I am equally envious.
The feeling of peace and tranquility that your pictures paint is fabulous and, as we all know, painting on a blank canvas is always to be preferred. I can only imagine how the system you have helped them build sounds in such an environment with nothing to distract from the music being produced
Well done you, i trust they will have many happy hours listening to the results of your efforts
My thoughts are always along those lines in that room .
Thanks, it’s a truly beautiful spot and they’ve done an amazing job with an empty barn joining their house. It’s all coming together now and it was really fulfilling to help out with a few things especially the Hifi . I must say , Naim have done an amazing job with the Atom which is currently being used with Neat Iota’s next door.
Waiting to see the Muso 2 here…

Thanks for posting the photo of the view. As beautiful as the room!
That is just epic… That’s something you see in the movies!
Very jealous!
Nice conversion, I live in a converted barn myself so I’m aware of the limitations as they’re narrow, I have my living room upstairs on a large mezzanine with a fully pitched ceiling and king trusses, makes for challenging acoustics but mine aren’t too bad surprisingly. Out of interest why did you mount the speakers each side of the door?
The furniture you can see is temporary , there’ll be one sofa in front of the window and a TV in the corner to the right of the speakers. The speakers will be pretty much central on listening position . The Wall mount speakers work really well and are much more discreet than pics suggest .
Pete,
Those pictures are an inspiration for my retirement dreams! What a stunningly beautiful place that is. It’s a credit to you and your parents and the mood and atmosphere is sublime.

I shall provide the customary comments, in your unique context:
I like the hi fi rack. Who manufactures it?
Cable dressing might need a bit of attention.
How’s the sound with the remote on the Qute?
What speaker cables are those? It’s like they almost . . . disappear . . .
Well the Hifi rack is currently being made by a stonemason in similar style so there should be no issues with isolation or hiding those cables (Sat TV etc ) . TV will be on a wall bracket .
The speaker cables are Chord Clearway recommended by the dealer and easy to manipulate as was required .
The sound of the Qute is amazing for its size no matter where the remote is : )) . We were just testing everything yesterday really .
I was attempting to be a little facetious ![]()
I have a Qute2 as my ‘second system’ and totally agree; it’s a great little unit!!
