I started to worry you might be dyslexic and it was going to backfire on me horribly!

Using the spanner on the remote, scroll down to front display and you’ll find the options. Set the display to be on for as short a time as possible and the clock to be off. You can also set how the logo mute works.

:small_blue_diamond:@micfor,…Ino Pi60,.are you from Sweden.?

I know the constructor of your speakers,.Ingvar Öhman.
You might also do that,.if you are from Sweden.

He has one of Sweden’s sharpest minds when it comes to loudspeakers.

/Peder🌼

Thanks HH

Well that is interesting, I purchased Ohman branded speakers for my son’s system here in the UK maybe 10 years ago, small bookshelf type, that he is still using. Never found anything about them on the internet, or elsewhere in the UK, but they were recommended by the dealer, and were not so expensive. Am I thinking these are part of your friends speaker development path to what he designs and makes now??

(sorry no pictures)

Thanks

@David, HH is NOT suggesting you get your toolbox out BTW.

:small_blue_diamond:@fergch,…InoAudio and GuruAudio are the companies that Ingvar Öhman’s speaker products are sold through.

He also works much as a consultant,.in everything that has to do with sound.
He also has built world-class recording studios, teaches in universities, designs loudspeakers and speaker-drivers for other major manufacturers,.etc,etc.

He is a little special ,..like all geniuses are, but very helpful and kind.
There is no one in Sweden,.or Scandinavia,in sound and sound technology who does not know who Ingvar Öhman is.

This is how he was described by the Scandinavian press, when his Guru loudspeakers were presented.. See below.

“The Swedish Guru speaker by InoAudio,.is the result of the meeting between violinist Erik Ring, industrial designer Erik Upmark and the legendary sound prophet Ingvar Öhman.”

These above are Ingvar Öhmans INO PiP,.is it these you bought for your son.
Excuse the image quality.

These are called Guru,.it may be these,if it was not Ino PiP.

Another picture of the Guru-speaker.

Here the cable-manufacturer NordOst,.used Ingvars Guru-Loudspeakers on a Hifi Show.

:black_small_square:Ingvar Öhman has also previously been chairman of the “Sound Technology Society” in Sweden for many years.
Nowadays he works as a technical consultant for them.

Some of you may be familiar with the Swedish Carlsson-speaker.
Constructed by another Swedish legend,..Stig Carlsson.
Ingvar Öhman also sits in the management team,.of the foundation..“Carlsson’s Friends”,.which aims is to preserve Stig Carlsson’s memory.

:small_blue_diamond:@fergch,..Here you got to know a little more about the designer of your son’s speakers.
If there’s anything else you’re thinking about,.just ask.

Thank you so much for the detail and insight into Ingvar Öhman - most interesting, and I am pleased to deal with this sort of person, who seems to have his own ideas and delivers in his product, much as Julian Vereker had for Naim in the first place in the 1970’s, but you all know this story.

The Öhman speakers look interesting and I would like have a listen sometime. The ones used in my son’s system are not the Guru, more like the INO PiP, but apart form Öhman there are no other clues about the speakers. I will ask if he (son) can send me some pictures of front and back.

Thanks for the information

The Buchardt S400 arrived!

I love the looks and finish of these, very happy I opted to wait for the Smoked Oak. They will need some 50 hours of break-in, but they already sound great honestly - can’t wait where they’ll go after some time.

The Atom is hardly powerful enough to take full advantage of these tough, so will be looking for a poweramp or another amp alltogether.

@fergch,…Just fun to spread some knowledge about hifi personalities in Sweden.
Would be nice to see pictures of your son’s speakers.

/Peder🙂

Some of us are quite familiar with his work.

I had the first pair of these in the UK. And then the mk ii’s as here.
