lovely looking turntable, forgive me but I don’t recognise it, can i ask what it is?
Yes, that would worry me too.
Hi Chris
It’s a Funkfirm LSD. Not the popular in the UK but in my opinion a giant killer. It really boogies
It is a worry of mine to, however this is a temporary position. Normally these are all running along the wall where the TT is. My wife fancied a change but now isn’t that keen so will probably go back soon.
Heh … sometimes my 250 is putting out more btu’s than the radiator
I would share the worry, I have my system in my bedroom up against the radiator, but I’ve turned the radiator off exactly because of my concerns.
Hi all folks out there.
Finally, very satisfied and proud of my main system, wich I hope to have a long future ahead without problems, and without any intention of introducing additional changes nor upgrades:
Chord C-Power > IsoTek Sirious > Chord C-Power > NAD C546 BEE > Oehlbach 2065 > NDX2 > Chord SE Tuned Aray DIN-DIN > SN3 > Chord Epic Reference > ProAc K6 + SVS SB 16 ULTRA (+Denon DP-300, Ortofon 2M Blue)
Greetings to the forum.
Sorry to belabour the point, but with all the money we pump into our systems, wouldn’t it be cheaper for forum members to move their radiators?
My system isn’t anywhere near the cost of most on here
And I’m not currently in the position to do that kind of thing.
I didn’t intend to address my observation solely to you, Spydey.
Hi
What are the feet under glass under the NDX and SN3 ?
How thick is the glass ?
And what’s on top… The circular thing over the Naim gear ?
Regards
Hi, mpw.
Isoacoustics Orea Indigo (crucial to adjust the type and number of feet, with their different weight tolerances, to the weight of the elements that must support).
10 mm thick tempered glass (as Naim specs).
Artesania Audio dampers: Improved model = 2’4 kg. (SN3) & Mk II model = 3’8 Kg. (NDX2).
Cheers.
I have the Orea Bronze x 3 under my Rega Planar 3… what a worthwhile purchase, not expensive compared to other isolation solutions and WOW do they work!
So you remove original feets and place the rega on those?
Exactly. I have a slighly loosish floor and suffered from footfalls, this completely absolved that, but it improved sound generally, especially tightening up the lower end.
I have a T-shaped room, the system is in one of the bars of the T, the radiators in the main body of the room and the other bar of the T are on, the 135s and the 555PS do a pretty good job of replacing a radiator.
Not one I have heard of before but I have to say that looks great, there’s a very positive review on hifi plus and technically it looks quite interesting, enjoy :o)
I love the use of the cabinets and glass shelves, nicely done.
Watch out for Henry the hoover…he has heard of the ClassA make over😉
Lovely system.
I absolutely love that chair!
