She said yes!
OK, not really. It’s my new/old Troika, back from its rebuild in Bishop’s Stortford. I’ve missed it so much over the past dozen years. No other cartridge captured my heart the same way. I won’t be able to get it back in the LP12 for a few weeks, so for now, I’ll just feast my eyes on the little darlin’.
Troika,.the sexiest cartridge that has ever existed.

OMG, that’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen this year, and my niece was born earlier on
I just love the attention to detail with the display box and presentation!
Goldring I assume? If so a good choice going by the positive reviews lately. Tempted to send them my Supex 900 super for a refurb.
The jewel box is my original. And if you look closely, you’ll notice that the small box is from my Klyde. But it was also well-packaged, which was essential, given that it had to cross the Atlantic.
Mention of two of my favourite cartridges of all time… Troika and Supex SD900. Let me add one more, the Linn Asak ‘T’’, which i had from new in around ‘83-84’, what a gem!
Yes, David Giffin at Goldring. Although the name on the invoice is Armour Home Electronics.
My first Linn cartridge along with an Ittock arm lovely.
Congratulations, William!
Thank you, I wasn‘t going to mention it but then I saw your jewel… and I don’t have a turntable myself,… I am sure you will be very happy together too. ATB, William
Fabulous!
That’s so cool! Congratulations!
And well done on the ring, says my missus.
I rate those 805d3 prestiges too ! Tidy set up on the fraim.
Congratulations.
Are your MAs 200 floorstanders? Did the Gaias make a big difference?
Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. Having seen your system pics I think we will have to do a world tour for the honeymoon and drop in on all of you along the way
If you end up in Yorkshire, drop in for a glass of wine and a listen.
