Here’s a refresh of my system after the upgrade to ND555 and Full Fraim;

Exactement FR, the space between the speakers demands some greenery, a bush perhaps… un buisson , ou un petit arbre
Hi Teslik, is that a specialist acoustic treatment behind your Hifi and speakers. My dealer uses something pretty similar?
It’s a Quadraspire SVT shelf, also available with a bronze upgrade to the spikes which I have heard and they do make a difference. Any Quadrasphire stockist should be able to supply.
Thought I’d pitch-in and share (now that it should be easy to embed images) a few photos of my humble system.

No, it’s a artificial stone that decorates that wall, but I think that it has a similar effect pretty close to the acoustic treatment.
Very inviting space…
Ooh… I spy one of the old illuminated logo signs.
If this works then bye bye Imgur! My humble system hopefully.
Some lovely systems and rooms here once again!

strong textVery nice SBLs - had a pair just like them several systems ago.
just music in the empty space…better for imagination…and for sound also.
Cheers DrMark. I was lucky as they are a late Mk2 pair and were only £250. I still have my black pair from ‘89 as back up.

Love the white RP6! Is it sitting on the Soundstyle rack directly or is there an isolator between it and the rack? Im not familiar enough with the rack to tell.
If you can swing it, you’ll be happiest with Fraim - believe me!
Thanks Bart. The white RP6 is certainly a striking contrast to the black boxes and rack! I was looking for either black or white, or possibly a vivid green RP6 (seem pretty rare), but this white one showed up locally at the right price. Job done. Although the new P8 looks very tempting.
The Soundsyle rack has a separate top shelf that sits on three inverted spikes to isolate the TT. Simple and effective. The downside of the rack overall is the minimal clearance for ’Classic’ sized units between shelves.
I’d consider a Fraim, but the cost in proportion to my set up seems illogical - I need new black boxes first. Plus I like the flexibility of a different make like Quadraspire (etc) to have more space around the items. It would be a secondhand unit anyway, so I’ll just keep a look out. I’m in no hurry.
YetiZone,
Absolutely loving the aesthetics of your system, with the white Rega, Chrom Bumper Nait, black UQ and stand.
Delicious! BF
