@frenchrooster: I’m sorry but I think this has to be the most gorgeous house in here. It’s so timeless and classic. Everything is coordinated to perfection (event he mop blends in). Everytime i look at it it makes me feel relaxed.
Hey Mario! This is quite some set up, not dissimilar to a dealers room! Can you talk us through the equipment and numerous speakers of which several look wired in! Looks lovely and I bet sounds incredible!
I did notice that and was wondering what it was But as it is in that picture the room looks spot on. Everything fits in so well with each other. Even the paintings have been hung at the right level/height.
Generally, like frenchrooster, I am a fan of the modern design but every now and again I do come accross a classic look which is just irresistable and your dining room is one of them. A perfect example of how a modern object such as Nova can fit very well in a classic environment.
I spent a lot of time with Naim before going off piste - but still use my magnificent SL speaker cable Like Naim amps, the 300 needs low capacitance cable or it will melt all over the rug… The phono amp lives inside the cabinet - I’m liking minimalism these days. Sky box is ugly but convenient. Reflection in mirror is 3 bass traps covered in one of my pictures. Corner trap’s main function is to hide the unholy pile of power cables. I’ve convinced myself they also focus the soundstage a little more.
