System Pics 2019

the Gryphon looks gorgeous. Nice system. How is the dac inside the Gryphon ?

The glass shelves are just toughened glass the same spec and make as Naim Fraim glass and it sits on Naim balls and cups.

Where can I buy? Link?

Bob what happened to your Olive kit

No commercial links here, however, your nearest glazier should be happy to get something suitable. The Naim glass shelves are from Pilkington glass.

Thanks frenchrooster; 5 years of adding and taking away and adding and taking away… I had to roll the Gryphon into position using ancient Stonehenge methodology, it’s so b’ heavy. I’m not using the integrated dac. It’s the small box on top of the unit left of the tv - Resonessence Mirus Pro. Super dac.

Update with a first step: the sound is rounder and the bass much deeper and more present…

Per request a few views of the parlor (living room). We like mid-century Danish furniture and ceramic arts. And hi fi :sunglasses:

Thanks! I waited patiently to find that chair for about 5 years. It’s the “Papa Bear” chair by Hans Wegner. We’re only the second owner of this one; the first owner was in Denmark. We had it reupholstered in this fabric as there is a shop here where we live that specializes in mid-century Danish furniture and knows what they are doing  It’s a vintage style fabric from Knoll. (My wife and I geek out about this stuff.) The smaller wooden arm chairs also are Danish, by Grete Jalk.

Laughing…that’s lovely to hear.
My wife geeks out about these things too…she is an upholsterer :slightly_smiling_face:

Next time you can choose fabric from Kvadrat to make it all Danish
The “Papa Bear” is hard to find here in Denmark. Beside good craftsmanship and design you sit very well in a Wegner chair. Good choice

Yay, Hutter. Have just read about the glass. Are measurements available somewhere? How does one source the Naim balls and cups? What are the specific differences of adding both to the Hutter?
