Goodness, the vomiting emoji, as used by six year olds.
Peder - has anyone ever told you that silence is golden? Sometimes refraining from saying / posting is a better option.
Hungryhalibut,…You keep on insulting instead of answering,…but if I remember correctly, you ended up occasionally in similar stories on the Old forum.
So the situation is well-known to you.
But this “Emoji” is good,…then you know exactly what I think about your behavior…Or how.!
These “Emoji’s” are used by adults all over the world,to avoid misunderstandings during discussions on forums.
You would try to widen your sight field a bit.
I repeat previous posts,…and with it,I end this pointless “discussion” with you.
Hungryhalibut,…Thank You,…for a friendly and warm answer, filled with thoughtfulness and understanding.
Peder🤔.
Again, back on topic please. Thank you.
Should we start a new thread to discuss interactions we are not happy with, not sure how we can have these discussions if we rigidly have to stick to the topic. Your guidance appreciated. Also, could you advise if it is possible to raise an issue or concern with you privately?
Any post you feel is inappropriate and breaches forum AUP you can flag, by clicking on the flag icon on the reply bar (you may need to click on the eclipse first to expand the options). i visit this thread regularly and this afternoon 104 posts unread indicated lots of feathers fluttered or ruffled on this thread…
Hope sense and sensibility and good pleasant language prevails all over.
if not - then Naim / moderator may as well shut this thread down.
In this respect all the forum members including new & old and re-entrants have a responsibility
best regards
FFS lets have some photos - even a rubbish iPhone shot of my lounge system half way through a cable tidying session is better than all this bickering.
nice to see a new avatar. Perhaps it will be a new Hungryhalibut. Happyhallibut? No offense here. I will open a new topic however, but had to respond to a member.
a leopard cannot change its spots
Maybe you are right, but it can have a jolly good try.
Please do keep trying Mr Fish. The new forum will be so much nicer and enjoyable if you refrain from insulting comments directed at those who are only trying to learn. We all have to start somewhere.
Furthermore, we are here to celebrate our hobby and the brand. Not to put others down.
Naim really nailed it with the new Uniti design. A really good looking (and sounding) product line. I hope the chap that did the industrial design work is still working at Naim.
James, you can read about him here:

Yes, I think it’s a neat little box, or at least it will be when I’ve tidied it up, and I’m pretty happy with its performance. Personally, I could live without the huge volume control and the screen, but you’ll never give everyone exactly what they want.
Toto, do you said i have to refrain my temptation to have insulting comments or not to have insulting comments. Sorry for my limited english, i don’t understand the meaning here.
I know just that i have never insulted anyone.
Don’t worry FR, the comment was directed at me. I’m sure you haven’t insulted anyone. I think it best that we all move on, and I apologise wholeheartedly to anyone who I have inadvertently upset or insulted. There was certainly no upset or insult intended.
glad to continue with a positive way. I enjoy this new forum and hope we will be all happy to share here.
The current state of my Naim journey and as a respectful nod to the other threads running concurrently to this one as well as some of the opinions expressed earlier in this thread, I respond:
Yes, there are perhaps a few too many boxes (some are out of this picture) but this is the Naim way and I’m personally happy to accept this small compromise for what it gives to me in return.
No, I’m not packing it in… not while it brings a wide smile to my face when playing…even if it’s just background music.
A lotta love for these Neat speakers. They work well with Naim.
I like the idea of Forum members showing their hifi within the context of their home environments, which is obviously a very personal thing. I feel like it’s an open invitation to come in and enjoy another member’s hospitality.
…and lastly, the yet to be started thread …’what should be my next upgrade’ ; yes I know I need to get some Fraim!
