As others have said, I think you have a missmatch between electronics, speakers and the room. One potential cost effective solution is to add another sub, or a couple more subs. In my experience, a second sub does more than the first. Subs will help fill the room and perhaps make the current speakers sound a bit more relaxed.

Good luck.

And you, when will the isolation finish? How is the weather and temperature now?

We’ve had a soft lockdown which thankfully has worked and it looks like things will slowly get back to normal. Fingers crossed of course.

Marco, what make is the left hand rack - I could do with something similar for my half width boxes.

It’s a design classic : USM-Haller
You can assemble it the way you like it, a bit like LEGO.
I put mine on SoundcareÂź SuperSpikes

looking great! what did you use to bring that sine though? I bough some restorer sometime ago for my SL2s but haven’t got around to using it – system is sounding so good I don’t want to disturb anything - neurosis or what!!

Hi Ken - what was the name of the restorer you bought?

We go to what we call Level 3, which is close to Australia’s full “soft lockdown” next Tuesday, for at least 2 weeks, then hopefully go to Level 2 - which would then be close-distancing (1m - no kissing strangers) and no large events.

Weather has been lovely, calm sunny Autumn days, around 20 degrees. Bit of rain today, but our water restrictions have now gone up to Level 3 as we have an extended drought heading towards winter!

Wired direct to the router upstairs is much better, but lacks WAF!
Will get routed properly once my mate turns up with his through wall drill.

I think the chrome bumpers really hold the room together.

yes new plates, will do a reseal of the bass cabs soon, and Ronseal on the top cabs, not much spike damage, but may as well go whole jog. Must do screen install first.

Polish is just a local product called “O’cedar” oil based, i wipe it on and off in an hour or so, timber can dry out otherwise over many years.
