New for this year is a John Kenny USB DAC, plus a little Starting Point Systems DAC with a Raspberry Pi and digi board, feeding the Headline.
I also need new grilles for the SBLs, the old ones having finally rotted away.

Happy New Year all. Heading into 2020 with a pair of speakers I never thought I’d like… much less buy
Started 2019 with 272/250dr/xpsdr into mission 70 speakers in a small apt
This is better.
The best to all in 2020.
Lovely set up and room. Love the doors to hide things away and the book shelves which must help with dampening the corner walls. Nicely done.
system at the end of 2019 252/300DR and boy does that combo create some music with LP12 and NDX as source
2019 was a big year with SC, then 252, Ekos SE and Pre Fix and finally Titan cables and red matt
2020 depending on budget DR the SC? or Keel for the deck?
Happy new year boys! 2020, gosh who’d have thought we’d come this far, and to think, some of us are still using HiFi technology from the 80’s!
Fear not, speakers have been moved well away from the rad this was just a temp set up. Also system sits far away enough from wall that it doesn’t get hot via the rad, although technically this shouldn’t matter as it gets warm in use anyway?
Wow what a system, very nice!
I’ve just taken these as it’s been moved since the pic above as mentioned. Our lounge is now serving as a semi crèche as my wife and I had a baby in May ‘19. My other room which was to be a listening room has been assigned to being a play room…oh well. Hence why the LP12 is now in the lounge instead. Using my beautiful bolt down 250 until I get another shelf for the Fraim to fit everything on. I also need another run of speaker cable to suit the new arrangement, the keen eyes among you may note the left speaker is not currently connected.
Gorgeous Lewis!
If you are able to, it might be worth swapping your NAC 32.5 and Hicap over, so that the Hicap is above the green lights of your power amps. Doing so costs nothing and will move the pre-amp’s sensitive circuits away from the large mains transformers in the power amps. At the moment, the 32.5 is sitting right on top of those transformers.
In any event, enjoy you lovely Chrome Bumper system.
Best regards, BF
l‘m impressed by the quality of your fotos …wow:-) have a great 2020, tons of music and love!
That’s a very stylish room and set up, those speakers look amazing!
