System Pics 2020

Looks good but those domes can be very tempting for little fingers, can you cover them up?

I tried the cera only on the floor but sounded worse than on these DIY stands. My floor is problematic and the building is bouncing. Building from 1730.
I would try later the Townsend podiums one day.

The Cera are set up to have exact horizontal position of speakers.

twenty5:26 work best with the tops about 15-30cm from the rear wall, all the bass comes out the lower front ports the black grill in them spreads the bass out and they do base big time! @popeye They will be even better on Naim chips rather that the small floor discs that come with them.

Ok Peter, i didn’t know. So I asked Popeye to try…However they look constrained in that position, with no space around and between.

But it looks nice of course. Like the decoration too.

Yes, what I really like is both the mid range and tweeter are both covered with metal guards and obviously the full covers are on when the kids are about and awake. :+1:t2:

Early days for your new speakers but just wondering if you notice a difference between grills on or off - something I’ve been pondering from all the pics posted on this thread.

Slightly but not much in it. :+1:t2:

Let’s just say that design with the ATL port is excellent and clearly very room friendly.
Not sure if it has much bearing but it’s actually a false panel behind the speakers and it’s about 4 inches deep then the solid wall.

If the grille is well designed there shouldn’t be. But even if not, it will be so slight that you might tell in an a/b test, but wouldn’t know which is which if there was, say 20 min, between sessions. That’s my experience

Thank you. Not only in music but worse, in the many and endless daily obligations, many of them practically totally superficial and spurious, socially imposed by this instantaneous and liquid society of hyperspeed and vertigo…

“Humble?” You have a great system, I’m sure it sound as good as it looks. Really like your rug, too.

Thanks Claude. Yep not too bad a system. But I do get 500 envy very often.

The rug is from India from a time when I lived there. But thanks for the compliment.

Took a couple of photos this morning on the IPAD, music room is pretty sorted, on the small side, but big in music

Captains chair

Main source is LP12’ takes up more room than NDS and IPad

Other expensive hobby photography

Beautiful looking house and system. Hats off to you.

I haven’t posted my system before, so here it is:
NDX, 252, SupercapDR, 300 & 300PS not DR, AV2, NAP 175.
Speakers: Naim Allies, n-Cent, n-Sub, n-Sats

I made no changes in the last year, but the year before I went from a 202/200 on an old stand to the current system on Fraim. What an improvement.
In 2019 I just bought music.

I am thinking about possibly a new streamer and power supply this year
