Terry, that’s really a music room, congratulations (and PMC, by the way…)
Cool thanks, Friday jazz night, PMC + Naim swings!
Very cool room.
Thanks Doc
Looks like Chopin on the piano.
Lookin’ good!
Spot on, nocturne op 9-2
Hi, new to the forum so please be kind. Just joined the Naim club with a purchase of a pair of SBLs - looking to work from the speakers backwards - either a Mission Cyrus 1 or Nait is next on the list - suggestions accepted.
Bought the SBL’s because I have them sitting close to 4ft thick Derbyshire limestone walls and I’ve got to admit they sound wonderful even with average/below average electronics before them (currently a Denon Ceol 9 and a lot of Spotify Connect)
I had a similar thought — though less impactful. I thought it looked like something one uses on New Year’s Eve…
In my youth I had pictures of Ferrari’s and Lamborghinis on my wall. I would have just as easily had your photo up (sans your feet)
Copied from link in Nova Tweaks thread and pasted in of @JSQT Volti Rivals (the outside speakers).
and presumably JL Audio subs on the inside.
Get the Nait…“Mission Cyrus” looks too much like “Miley Cyrus” at a quick glance!
All joking aside, SBLs are wonderful speakers; I had a cherry pair for years, and enjoyed them very much and I am sure you will too. Welcome to the Forum.
Thats a nice looking room!
Thats a nice room and the speakers look great. To get the best out of them take your time and buy the best second hand Naim amp or pre/power you can afford. Keep an eye out on the Tom Tom audio site they have a good reputation and keep a lot of second hand Naim. Its been a long time since i owned SBL’s, a nice second hand nac 82 and nap 250 would sound great.
Welcome.

Room slowly taking shape… Hoping to upgrade to separates (3-4 max) in the near future but for now, the atom has been a right blessing.
What speakers do you have with your Atom? Look fairly large. It’s amazing what it can do for such a small box isn’t it!
Mark84, I have the Bowers & Wilkins 703 S2’s. They sound great to me but I think (personal opinion) that they’d really shine with the atoms more powerful cousins in the classic range. As an interim fix, I’ll add a suitable powered subwoofer to assist in adding some substance to the lower range. Your speakers look great btw
