Oh, very very interesting. Thank you very much @anon27418182!
Mine too, but shouldn’t this be on the What Are You Listening To thread?
BTW are the speakers Fact 12?
Ooops…yeah, probably. I’m quite new here and find the menu structure and topic descriptions pretty confusing so I’ll repost.
They’re Twenty5.26
I was going to buy the Era Gold V but ended up buying a Trichord Dino/Dino + PSU for the added flexibility because though I’m mostly MM these days I do have a couple of MC’s that have a bit of life left.
This will be my third Dino and they sound equally as good on MM as they do with MC which is quite rare.
Shot of the fun and fab new LP from Duo Lipa from a different vantage point …Let’s just say it is inspired from the rear
Congratulations on some great speakers!
Nice to see someone not afraid to pull the speakers away from the wall…you must be in the US/Canada.
Haha… US
I’ve made a few changes to my system, its a lot more compact now and a bit tidier than it use to be. The Isoblue was a recent auction site purchase.
It has been providing many many happy of hours of listening!
Very nice system, how does the SBS-1 compare to the NAP 140?
Thanks Fred11…I’ve actually just ordered new speakers! I shall give a full report when they arrive!
Thank you Aren, I found the SBS to be a much better partner to the PMC’s. The NAP140 and NAC72 are a lovely pairing but I found the additional umpf of the SBS brings the PMCs to life.
My latest update, not the last one I figure. Only NDX2 and Sopra No 2 survived and then moved from 555PSDR-282-HC2-250DR-Stageline to bare NDX2-SN3-HCdr. I certainly miss the 282/250DR, but simplicity suits my right now and SN3 is really good.

Very cool looking space.
Nice, clean setup and a relaxing room to hang out and enjoy the vibes.
Clearly with any HiFi, there is typically a single seating position where you get the whole impact. In my case, my wife is not bothered, but I wonder how people cope when their spouse/partners/kids are also big music/HiFi fans. Do you have a rota system ?
Hifi in a shared/multi-purpose room, and other people in the room = compromise. My setup is far from perfect, but I still get a great sound from the system.
Yes, when no-one else is in the house I get to listen to music I like.
Son #2 was watching a music prog on Sky Arts as I was going out so I put the audio through the stereo, but he continued to sit directly in front of the LH speaker on the settee at the end nearer to the tv. I suggested he sit at the other end to be central between the speakers as it sounds better. He did; his response? “Blimey it does.”
