Yes our sons use that term a lot.
Just added a 282 and dual HiCapDRs to the 272 (now just a streamer/DAC), XPSDR, Rega RP10/Apheta2/Aria, 250DR and Harbeth SuperHL5+ 40yr Anniversary Ed.
Your tv might get an inferiority complex.
I agree plinth and Fraim look gorgeous, and I’m not normally a fan of the Fraim’s looks.
It looks you’ve gone from Ittok to Ekos SE, judging from the grommet on the armboard? Is it Kore? Is that a Linn phono stage and Armageddon? I’m also guessing you have a 300 power amp with both the amp and the power supply on the “brawn” rack?
Sorry, lot’s of questions, but I’m always interested to see systems similar to mine

My son sees a Boeing 737-700 Alaska Airlines model
I don’t know if it’s the dash 700 model exactly
He collects models too but in 1:500 scale
Back in the day, down in Devon on holiday, they were called Slaps.
A girl friend of mine at the time acquired the cartons from the egg man at a local market. I’m pretty sure he didn’t believe what she said they were going to be used for!
So far we have flip flops, thongs, slaps and jandals. Has anyone else got another name.
My boys call them sliders (not the cheese wire ladies undies)
It’s time for a prod to stay on topic, which is system pics. A thread dedicated to alternative names for naff footwear is always an option. This isn’t being the ‘forum police’ but merely crap minimisation.
When the UK and Europe are asleep the international gang take over. There’s not as many of us and we can only show our systems so many times before it’s starts to get boring, it’s just a little lighthearted fun.
The trouble is, a bit of lighthearted banter, which is great, can take over and become an irritant. When people start posting pictures of women’s underwear it’s gone too far. Now we’ll have endless tedious comments about my being dull etc so it’s impossible to get it right.
NAC 202, NAP 200 and Krell player on the display rack since I got the Sonneteer Orton integrated amp last year(and stopped listening to CDs).
CD5 XS, NAIT XS 2, Flatcap XS, Speakers Celestion SL6Si’s from the late 80’s.
The lounge rugs are for the pets not to mark the leather lounge. Self defeating in a way. The white box on the left is a Turntable Shelf yet to be mounted. The plastic basket was the washing basket that was in my sweet spot listening position. The pug, not in the picture normally sleeps on my lap or sleeps on the blue rug. We can not be separated.
What’s on the corners behind your speakers ?
What speakers are those BTW ?
Nice and simple leads to.music…
I bet HH likes to give the occasional prod here and there to line up all the sheep and make them march in a perfect line …hoof to hoof…
I am.imagining him sharpening the stick for the next one
There are IKEA lamps are for light mood effects in the corners of the room… They came with two bulbs each. Though I have removed one in each for softer lighting effects.
The speakers are a pair of Celestion SL6Si’s from the late 80’s.
The speaker leads where cut for the old house where there was 5 metres between speaker and amplifier. I have kept the same NAIM speaker leads and have run them at right angles to any power leads running along the floor behind the IKEA TV Stand. The TV is an old Pioneer 50" plasma.
Warm regards,
Paul.
Would u like to roll up 2 mattress and try what it does to the sound…at the place where the Ikea lamps are ?
Nice system…I loved the CD5XS …beautiful player
That sounds interesting mpw. Why do you recommend that please?
Warm regards,
Paul.
