Shame that it’s a replica one. Thanks Graeme for your kind words.
Thank you, I wish a ND5xs2 is going to replace the node 2 sooner than rather.
That looks very smart and I love how the daylight illuminates the front edge of the glass shelves in this picture.
Thank you, I will try to keep it simple as long as I can. I believe you understand the upgrade itch
Try out Amazon HD if you have it there. I prefer it to Tidal and it has more content than Qobuz.
I think you will find cable labelling affects the sound…!
Off topic but an unusual coincidence of thoughts. I like your forum name. My maternal grandmother was an expert at making that treat which we often shared on Sundays with a traditional meal of roast beef, mixed with roasted carrots and potatoes from the same pot, and your namesake made from that delicious grease and served with gravy from the same. All in the state of Ohio.
My mom could never ( willingly) get the grease boiling hot enough to every come close to my grandmothers version (so crisp and golden brown) so that part of the meal faded after my grandmothers death in the '60s. But i can still taste the memories 50+ years on.
My grandmother was born on May 5, 1896, 125 years ago today. She always told me I was her favorite grand child as I was the last born. Happy birthday grandma. And thanks for the spirit message coincidence, or maybe… not a coincidence.
Happy Birthday Grandma !
A lovely, treasured memory, family Sunday meals are a great event and often well remembered…
Your Grandmother sounded like a very special person…
As she knew, the secret to good Puds is pre-heating the oil prior to pouring the mix in…we also find an ‘extra’ egg also helps…
Our simple recipe…
100g Plain flour
3 eggs
225 ml milk
Pinch of salt
Enjoy your special day.
Some soft furnishings or rugs etc would improve it further I reckon.
Thanks for indulging me, and sorry to others for the diversion post.
A good day to you all as well.

OT.
From my point of view, the Yorkshire pudding is one of the best (if not the best) English “side” dish I ever tasted!!
I love this set-up.
Very nice. What is the rack brand?
Thanks it’s solid-sounds
Sweet room/system. Love it.
Looking really good.
I like the symmetry / geometry of that rack system and presentation
I’m guessing you like things neat, tidy and “squared away”?
Thank you
Thanks for your advice. I’m thinking to add some plant might be a good idea.
Thanks and yeah I like the way it reinforces the ‘solid block’ form of the Naim unit. I’m sure a Fraim would sound better, but I wanted something a bit more blended and tucked away whilst not hidden away either.
