I just love the Totem speaker sets you have Mike - special.
Youâve got some nice systems there Mike (not a bad view too). Very nice
A few subtle changes to my room recently, mainly aesthetic with a few more bits of art to add a splash of colour. I finally upgraded to a 500DR taking advantage of the medium Fraim levels I already had, but everything else is the same - even the sleeping cat.
My NDX, 202 & 200 system with Marantz AV and âoldâ MA RS8âs. MA sliver centre, RS12 Sub & RS1âs filling in for the 5:1 sytem
Presumably the TV pops up out of the white unit. How clever.
That catâs not asleep! He or she is either looking out of the window or listening to music. It all looks very nice.
Makes a change - heâs usually ZZzzzzzzzzzzzâŚ
Yeah, that is the beeâs knees for TV storage - really cool.
Set up a light for night time / dark listening, so I can still see when changing CD
Was listening to Lygetiâs requiem and the visuals was just like the monilith floating into view above Jupiter from the film 2001
Wow!
Naim solstice?
yes itâs crazy that we dont have atc in nsw.
Yes, thank you, they are keepers, I have a soft spot for them.
Thank you, itâs a bit stormy, cold and wild today though. We are on our 4th winter storm alreadyâŚ
A Rega deck with a different arm, even if it is a Rega derivative, still doesnât happen very often.
Hi Yeti,
Not a bad spot! Yes, its a Origin Live Onyx. I live only a few miles from where they are made, and its quite an improvement on the original RB250. The Rega is from 1986, so an old one, but in addition to the arm, has the 24v motor upgrade and bearing/platter additions from Tangospinner.
Very cool, where did you get it?
Keith
I was agreeing with Nigelâs observation about the lift-up TV stand - I had never seen one before, and really like it. @Meaculpa has it.
Cat proof top Fraim shelves there, Dave?
@ DrMark & @KRM,
The unit was made by a local handyman (long story, but my wife hates the TV & differences over which way the HiFi should face! Its a compromise!) and then painted with satinwood. The lift it self is a Venset unit. They have difference sizes for screen size & weight, but I went with the TS1000 to be on the safe side.
If I am going too far off topic, or mentioning too much ânon-Naimâ then my apologies and please move to another category if necessaryâŚ
