@anon70766008 - What will you do if its true…?
I am quite confident - that the Ittok was made - at least partially - by Canon.
They are marked ‘Made in Japan’.
Ekos of course comes from Ecosse - Scotland.

Ok, this is close -
They look sensational.
Excuse my ignorance, what are they? I mean presumably they are speakers!
Heard these demoed at my dealers about 3 years ago. Sounded fabulous driven by (if I remember correctly) a NAP 300DR.
Amongst the best 3 systems I have heard. Would certainly consider a pair if I had the space.
Russell K was at the demo. An extremely nice man. He explained the philosophy behind his designs but actually seemed more interested in the music being played, much of which he hadn’t heard!
Either a fancy B&O system or the latest Doctor Who monster
So pleased listening to my newly acquired 282. The sound is a major step up from the 202! Just loving it.
And my dealer has got a pre-loved NAP 250 DR!!! Arghhh….
Yep it was my 39 year old Ittok. Since the pic was taken I’ve gone Ekos SE but the Ittok was a workhorse for me all those years. It was quite emotional saying goodbye to it tbh😢 …… but this is my world now……
Great shots Toon. That’s a rather lovely looking LP12 !
Beautiful plinth.
To add to what others have said, that’s a lovely looking deck.
And, I assume, a non-Linn plinth. What is the wood?
Thank you. Simon Price SimPlinth in high gloss Indian Rosewood. Sometimes I just sit and look at it.
It’s a Simon Price SimPlinth in high gloss Indian Rosewood
That xx-2 is what I have in mind to replace my Benz ACE sl sometime next year.
RB3000 and Cyrus phono signature are ready for the DV.
That’s exactly the route I took. Benz Micro Ace SL → XX2. You won’t regret it.
You’re not alone…I too was sad to see my long-faithful Ittok LVII go. Although the better arm, I have a few years to go before my Ekos SE is as dear to me.
With all the upgrades you’ve done recently, are you able to separate out and say what the arm has brought to the party. It’s an upgrade which is in my sights for next year. Cheers!
