That’s the problem Graeme. Not really. Of the 3 recent upgrades (Kore → Keel, Ittok → Ekos SE, Cyrus Phono Signature-> Rega Aura) I would say Keel/Rega/Ekos.
But the overall effect is stupendous
I’ll bet it is! I wouldn’t be able to tear myself away from it.
Listening to some classic jazz on my little record player is so enjoyable. It’s great that the old vinyl spinners come in all shapes and sizes.
I don’t usually like many turntables but that looks gorgeous!
Is the Dave new? Were you using a Qutest before?
Hi,
Thanks for the kind words and placement idea. I just pulled the trigger on a "new " burndy, so I will need to do some connecting. I was thinking about switching the streamer with the Supercap, would that achieve the same end? Not sure my cables would fit if I moved the SC to the bottom shelf. Any other setup thoughts, I have a hum at 9 oclock that is interconnect dependant from the SUT, looking to get it to 12. I rarely go to 10. Cable dressing has improved it tremendously, but looking to eke out every drop over performance.

A few weeks ago I traded the Qutest for a new Dave I was contemplating the TT2 but thought what the hell and opted for the Dave, expensive yes but the sound from this dac is simply awesome.

I love those Blue Note recordings Nigel
Hi Jeff,
We have tried a single stack of boxes, we have tried brawn on the left, brain on the right (as you look at it from the front) and finally brain on the left, brawn on the right. Single stack is worst, brain left with brawn right is the best for us. This makes sense, as brawn to the right puts the power supply transformers (which are on the right hand side of Naim’s kit) as far away from the sensitive brain electronics as possible. A stacking order which achieves this is likely to work well.
The other consideration in your case is to keep the phono stage and its leads as far away from power supply transformers as possible to eliminate hum.
Hope this helps, BF
Shame you don’t have the brand name of the trunking. Is it plastic, or aluminium? I intend to replace my skirting board with something like that, to hide speaker cables etc…(No Mains though)
Go to any electrical wholesalers/factors. They should be able to sort something out. Don’t forget to take a sample of the cable you want to poke through it. Doubt it’s aluminium. Too expensive.
Very nice, not seen for a while
I thought I would get in on here before the end of the year
Thx……nice system and room, take care👍
They would go well in our room
Thank you, I will and you just never know when things may change
