Totally agree, think it takes us all back to where it started
Out of interest, where do you get one of those from, my wife is a florist (yes itâs been and challenging year dealing with devastated Brides to be, along with distraught bereaved relatives).
One of those would be amazing for consultations and display mock ups etc.
Finally got our eleven Roman Blinds fitted (courtesy of Vanessa Arbuthnot ) .
Our very minimalist system : Uniti Star and Credo Speakers now sounds so beautifully mellow .
The blind material seems to have absorbed some of the previous harshness .
We tend to listen to mostly chamber music at fairly low volumes .
Our very simple and modest system is perfect for our needs.
NB Uniti lives in the cupboard on the left.
Mine came from Suffolk and the wheels from Norfolk of all places. Counties across seem to have people who make them. I had it as a home office but it also sleeps two. The fire is a proper ones from The West Country.
Looks absolutely stunning, Suffolk and Norfolk collaboration, interesting !
And the topic of this thread is hifi or wendy houses?
At this rate weâll have David Cameron popping in for a cosy little chat!
Looks fantastic! Lovely system.
It can get a bit âHomes & Gardensâ with discussions on Kitchen Appliances and shades of Farrow & Ball Paint but now weâve actually left the house and are in the garden whatâs next a QB hidden amongst the daffodils?
I do get it youâve put lotâs of love, time & energy into your homes and they are beautiful but perhaps another thread would be better.
Shepherds Hut please! Farrow and Ball pain inside and outside in all its 4 tons.
Stunning!!!
And I thought the room environment was actually integral/critical to the sound that the hi-fi produces, agree it can divert a bit far, but it did start on that thread with the best intentions.
It does. My Robertâs in there sounds fantastic - especially for R4. Somehow I can see my Spendor 9.2 being too happy in there.
That looks like a real powerhouse of a system. I love the way youâve managed to keep the AV and music elements separate in the racking.
Great use of colour. Bravo!
Having just added a new power supply to the system I thought Iâd sort the cables out. Then I thought I donât know it sounds pretty good as it is.
Thank you. Our main living area is the kitchen which has a lot of natural light, white walls and units. We wanted a dark atmospheric room for music and movies and added the bright sofas for some colour. We spend a lot of time in there with the winter lock down.
The acoustic treatment has improved the atmosphere in the room, I plan to add a few more panels over time.
My OCD with such things would get the better of me.
Iâm the same when setting up my amp and pedal board for gigs. The bass player thinks Iâm mad, then again he always compliments the tone of my rig!!
Whatâs the pan for?
