This cable spaghetti is exactly the reason why I’m sticking with the Nova.
Have you already eaten spaghettis not touching each other ?
You are nearly there John, just add a little meat sauce and poor a glass of vino Enjoy Peter
Some shots of my home office setup, put together over the Dec/Jan (well, at least the audio part).
Perhaps a bit of overkill, but it’s been fun!
Very nice setup - you may need some isoacoustic stands for the tab 10
True. Wish there was something a little more understated that fits them. Most of the stands I’ve looked at are deeper than the speakers… and of course dimensions are one of the reasons I picked the Tab 10s in the first place!
I originally had my Tab 10’s on shelves and I used Atacama Isolation Gel Pads to isolate them. Very discrete and inexpensive and I think they worked really well
Thanks for the suggestion, looks promising. Sounds like you may have had to install the pads onto the speaker cabinets (like I would) if they weren’t up on stands. If that’s the case, did you have any experience trying to remove them later?
Hi @Endon
I have one of those Sound Org supports, since I injured my back though I now have my LP12 on a three tier Sound Org with add on shelf.
I’m curious about that sub plinth in your picture
Thanks
I did remove them later. I was very careful so no damage to veneer
Or if you know what position you want them on the desks then you could stick pads to desk and just place Tabs on top?
I think I may get some pushback on that one. Although… this desktop is warped and really needs to be redone anyway. Just ordered a set of the pads to stop myself from looking at stands or any more purchases for a little while.
I don’t think you will be disappointed. When dealer (Billy Vee) came to install my system he actually brought these and applied them so it was their recommendation. I thought they were great
Those shoe box sized naim boxes were made for offices, workshops, etc. Although my 72/HC has forced its way into my main system.
What are the speakers GXX?
If these are the ones that I’m thinking of do not stick them directly to the speaker - removal may take the veneer off as they are very sticky!
Ciao Frenchrooste, my speakers are ESB model 7/08II. this was a famous italian brand in the 80’s, today unfortunately dismissed. Mine are 32 years old. replaced capacitors and tweeter oil.
Thanks. First time I see them, so was curious. Italian make wonderful speakers, beautiful like instruments.
