What a beatiful rack @marksnaim ! What brand is it?
Iver
Thanks. Itās a Blok rack. Simple design and nice quality finish. Doesnāt go in for fancy isolation so I have the 252, 250s and Supercaps on Stillpoint minis, which I find very effective.
I have never understood why feet, socks, slippers, etc are included in so many photos on this thread. I enjoy seeing the system pics but I could do without the feet! Is it simply bad photography (and thereās quite a lot of that on here) or are people genuinely interested in feet? Perhaps there should be a separate thread in the Padded Cell for foot enthusiasts?
Why are the speakers so high? Looks like your seating position will place you below the ideal vertical dispersion level (head between mid and tweeter).
Yes I made these myself. Made to a specific design of course. The design can be made fully passive or semi active with plate amps for bass drivers.
People do take the system photographs they want to take, and I think thatās good as long as forum rules arenāt broken. And FWIW, I think thereās quite a lot of good photography on hereā¦
All I can say is that it sounds so much better in my room. The floor is problematicā¦
I am tall too.
A while ago there was a long-running hifi and socks/slippers photo thread. It is a hangover from that thread.
I agree there is certainly some good photography on this thread, but since when are feet part of the system that they are photographing? I just donāt understand the need to include them. I am not suggesting they should be banned!
See my post above.
Yeah right fair enough. Decoupling from the floor.
No not really but it only gets used for background music when weāre doing housework etc
Gazelles?
Oh no, those are definitely the feet of a Homo sapiensā¦
Gone.
@Swanny Looking at some of my pictures, I should join that club.
Please post your pictures - as someone at the lowest end of HiFi, I love looking at any and all from the beautifully shot Ā£250,000+ systems to the shoddy ācheaperā ones
You donāt. Donāt let them put you off, Iām always happy to see all photos and systems regardless of quality of photos and value of the hi fi.
