@trickydickie
Congratulations on a beautifully balanced and well thought out system. Looks good too.
Nice work on the speakers and stands
Many thanks James, I had a lot of fun and there was plenty of head scratching to make two curved panels and get both exactly the same to form a perfect pair. They are actually not rigid, and on reading about Raidho stands neither are they. So the stands begin to behave like isolation platforms. Speakers need a sub though, which can also be seen in the picture.
Congrats . Good work!
I vote that those who wish to discuss and air their dirty laundry start a new thread
Raidho stands are from metal, aluminium, right?
Neat Neat Neat
Yes FR, Aluminium I think. Mine are not of course. Only the straight tube on mine was metal. The rest is curved MDF I formed over a wooden former to get the shape the same twice.
Let’s see those 808s please
Today I have got a record player back in my life after 35 years without. So far, it is a real joy to me.
Lovely setup there Graeme.
Lovely plinth on the Linn. Walnut?
Also, what cartridge do you have on the Akito (I assume)?
Nice setup indeed!
I love the black bird you have on the cube.
MArco
Thank you.
It’s an Eames House Bird.
Wow what a start back into vinyl
I have an ATVM95 SH on my P8 and it’s magnificent value.
Glad you didn’t get rid of your vinyl …
Just like me…
Just wished I had not got rid of my LP12 -mu second worst hifi decision
What was the first?
Hmm. I have what’s left after “friends” borrowed some, and then a divorce meant I lost my Led Zep and Pink Floyd collections amongst many others. All sold by my ex about five years ago. Still I’ve enough to be going on with and 2nd Mrs. G. brought her own into the mix.
All in all I have around 70 albums left out of 400ish. But life is too short to worry about all that now. Onwards!
