Bowhill and Elliot?
No, Shipton & Heneage.
(just looked at their current prices - I’m very glad to have bought mine 15 years ago!)
So cool those speakers!!!
You don’t see a lot of Dartzeel. Very unique looking equipment.
Funky DartZeel integrated… tell is more.
That’s a very interesting combination of components. The darTZeel integrated looks great.
Spent the afternoon watching the footie (Aussie Rules) with no volume and listening to music on my Atom and Kef combo. I’m always surprised just how good it sounds while it’s never going to match my main setup it’s still probably a better system than most people I know have. We are indeed privileged.
While the color combinations may be funky, I personally find them appealing. As for the system, I am really satisfied with it and feel that the components have great synergy, resulting in an engaging and enjoyable presentation. Overall I am a happy camper.
I’m guessing with those stands, your speakers are quite safe from bumps with the vacuum cleaner not least of all lending some gravitas to the lower registers
I made them and i guessed (wrongly) the size.
They are only temporary.
The speakers or the stands ?
Which KEFs are those, Pete?
They’re part of a surround Q Series Compact set I bought about 10 years ago. Only paid about $2k for 4 speakers + centre and sub. I’m always surprised by how good they sound.
They look like a scaled-down version of the iQ3s I have in my office system.
A few changes since my last pictures. Mainly, I switched from Harbeth C7es3-XD speakers, to Sonus Faber Minima Amator II.
Like them Daniel ?
Big improvement in SQ?
Way to go.
I went active with my Kudos T606s a few years ago.
Paired it with Naim; NAC 282 — SNAXO 242 — NAP 250 x2.
Well worth the effort, lot more detail and depth. An upgrade you won’t regret.
DG…
Yes, a noticeable improvement with the Sonus Fabers. The midrange is just as magical as the former Harbeths, and everything else is better. They are really a special little speaker.
