another dead cow ?

so I too have a Nova but was persuaded away from this route as the £5000 investment in the Nova would be halved turning off the included power supply, do you plan NDX2 or dedicated streamer to replace the Nova? Nice speaker I presume no sub needed? I have the LS50 Metas and purchased a Rel TX/7 shortly after, give a much fuller sound. Loving the Nova…(after returning the Star !

I didn’t buy the Nova intending to upgrade, but things move on, I suppose. My longer term plan is to buy a 222, probably, and move the nova to another room as a second system.

In the meantime though, it’s a fantastic upgrade. Sure it might render some of the functionality of the nova redundant, but that doesn’t detract from the outcome.

Or they could offer 4 of them so that fans of The Flaming Lips could actually play Zaireeka on a quality set up

The album consists of four CDs designed so that when played simultaneously on four separate audio systems…

Yes Richard that was my thought. The ability to have a left and right speaker. If I think about since the Muso is Wi-Fi enabled a second speaker could be linked via Wi-Fi how cool would that be!

With two volume controls on top? Compared to Ruark and KEF wifi speakers that do the same thing better without redundant circuitry?

Very cool.

How about the second speaker doesn’t have the extra superfluous circuitry?

No what I mean is, you would have one as a primary with the volume control and streaming, and the second as a secondary receiving but with the volume wheel and streaming circuitry unused.

There are products on the market that do exactly what you describe where the second speaker in the pair has no buttons or knobs. I think if the feature for Muso existed, given the choice of buying two musos or the dedicated KEF/JBL/Ruark wireless speaker, few would rush out and buy two Musos.

I say this as someone with two Qbs.

The second one would be less expensive say 50% as much with maybe just the light along the bottom and the lighted Naim logo on the left. The Naim logo on the bottom could indicate connection status ?

That works for me.

When we were speculating before the Qb 2 release, I envisioned this very thing.

I’ve today become a happy boy with the introduction of my first Naim piece. Thus, appropriate for a first post I suppose? Mind the stands, I’ll get to switching them soon enough…

Enjoy the Nova lovely piece of kit, not much of an upgrade path as with other Naim equipment but the Powerline I added is a nice subtle improvement :+1:t2:

Welcome Super-Panda. Nice minimalist system. Really like your oak (?) cabinet, where the Nova sits on. :slightly_smiling_face: :ok_hand:
