My system evolution over the last few years = I consider myself very lucky!
With every step it has been a worthy investment and a musical joy.
In September 2023, I sold my Supernait2 + HiCapDR and a few spare cables, which funded half the cost of the NAC332. In January 2024 I traded the NAP250DR towards the NAP350s saving me 25% off the purchase price. In September 2025 I had the opportunity to buy a mint ex-demo NPX300 power supply at 45% off retail. Not shown here are my trusty iBLs to which I added StackAudio Auva Loudspeaker feet back in April 2025 → which work amazingly well.
Jan 22 → SN2 / CDX2.2 / NAP250 DR / HiCap DR / XPS DR
I get it FR. I try to keep my system rooms pleasant aesthetically which seems to create a good emotional state for music listening. I really like what you’ve achieved
Home office system - the only one without any Naim components. This system will change in the next couple of weeks (hopefully..) as I’m replacing the SCM 11’s and the P1 with a pair of ATC SCM 20ASL’s. Super excited!
Kitchen system - apologies for the appearance - just finally had our leaky roof fixed! Now it’s down to me to paint! So do expect delays… No change here this year - part from decor of course!
And finally the AV system. I’ve been a fan and pretty constant user of the ARCAM & MONITOR AUDIO combo for years. This system probably wont change (it’s a 5.4.2 beast). NDX5 XS2 on streaming duties however. I know the speakers are in a terrible position - but you have to work with what you have space wise.
Very thankful James, and Cohen too, and still more as you have both among the nicest systems integrated inside a living room. Your systems could figure inside audio magazines.
Talking about that, I am wondering if audio magazines are still showing personal audio systems. I remember @Polarbear system being shown in a mag.
Yes, my system appeared in Hi-fi News a couple of times, I had two articles written about it. It was very interesting to do and a real privilege to have appeared.
