Teac Transport users

I know a few others here use Teac CDT’s of various types into a Dac, likely in turn feeding their Nait 50!

I chanced on the fact that there was a firmware update for my 505T and I know there is one for the 701T too. Perhaps other transports of theirs as well.

As below:

  • Enabled playback of discs where the TOC and actual track start times do not match.

  • Modified to display an error when attempting playback in Program (PGM) mode with no tracks programmed.

  • Fixed the USB device descriptor to correctly display the model name.

  • Improved operational stability.

The first three points aren’t of any great importance to me, the 4th seems a universal thing so not sure how vital it is but you may want to take a look. Anyway, nice clear instructions on their website, only took a couple of minutes if anyone interested.

Thanks Jamie, I will check it out. My 505T feels a bit unloved at the moment though as I have ripped all my CDs onto an ssd and play them through my NDX2.
