If anyone is interested BBC 2 are dedicating an evening to The Cure on Saturday 2nd November 2024.

That’s not everything: concert on the 30th to be broadcast on the 31st. It might be the same thing that will be on bbc2, but it’s on iplayer for 30 days from oct 31. I have my fingers x’d for the ballot.

They’re a favourite of mine too. I foresee a fight for the TV controls with my wife that night but I guess I’ll have to settle for the TV in the bedroom.

I’d seen something earlier today about this, I wonder why the beeb are broadcasting it on Halloween? :laughing:

Yes that was a long interview, I covered it in three separate sessions (my dog needed attention), but what an interesting range of subjects covered. 70s football through to ticket pricing and a lot more. I’m looking forward to hearing the new album.
