Again - the internet fails me.
The photo(s) above were the best I could find.
I bought my Linn with the original rubber mat.
Some time later the felt ‘slip mat’ became de rigueur and what a pain in the arse that proved to be.

My LP 12 came with the felt mat. My Planar 2’s rubber (Linn) mat was so simply & hassle free…
Even today, several felt mats later, I can still get the Linn felt mat to come off with the record, if there is any static.
Somewhere, I have a (non-Linn) pricelist from the days when it was possible to to buy the LP12 as a chassis, offering the felt mat with a sewn on tab for “DJ cueing” as an alternative to the rubber mat.

Golden age of Naim, hmmm, I think that mine has yet to come, having very fond memories of hearing a Linn/Naim combo in a HiFi shop a good many years ago and again more recently is the driving force behind my goal of having a Linn/Naim set-up this year.
I have heard plenty of TT/Amp combinations in the last few years, some have been pants, some very good but none have stuck in my mind as much as the aforementioned combination from all those years back.
