There you go, now youā€™ve got a wedding to look forward to too.
Hang in their mate, loads of people (family, friends, forumites et al) all out here rooting for you.

Good thing Iā€™m not superstitious

Day 2 of chemo starts today, it seems that 1/2 the drugs they give you are too stop the other half killing you.

Iā€™m just about to hook up for day 3, half way through the chemo.

I do realise thereā€™s a lot love going on something I never take for granted.

And there is always the result of the first T20 to cheer you up. Australiaā€™s first few overs of batting were awesome. Thinking of you Pete.

They are made from a single piece of hide, that means they adapt to your foot making them very, very comfy.

Finished day 3 so far it hasnā€™t really hit me yet. Tomorrow I get half chemo and half a drug thatā€™ll stop the chemo from rip my bowls, itā€™ll run continuously for 3 days (Sunday). That was a bit of a surprise.

My dark angel (head of department) told me to give her nurses as much cheek as I like cause next week Iā€™ll be flat on my back wishing I was somewhere else.

It was in my paperwork but we thought it was a mistake, a drip for 72 hours sounded unbelievable.

Are you sure it wasnā€™t the other way round?

And they are to give you as much cheek as possible ?

Ian

Trust me they do, theyā€™ve been wonderfull. Funny kind understanding and professional. They make a horrible situation bearable.
