Agreed Mike - only couple of pieces for me to go and i reckon Iā€™m done

But letā€™s face it the black classic series look has had a great run for almost 20 years, I personally like it but I suspect the ā€œnewerā€ generation of customer look on it as very old fashioned and doesnā€™t fit in with contemporary residential design living. But I donā€™t care.

Never a fan of the olives although did own it

Times move on, change is good if done correctly

Yes but the newbies are more likely to warm to the Unitiā€™s, I thought thatā€™s who they were aimed at. But in saying that I wouldnā€™t be surprised to see an updated range that is more like them then the current black boxes.

Or a preamp / streamer and active speakers. This is an obvious gap in the Naim / Focal arrangement and I think a clear candidate for those Naim with Focal packages and shops.

Yep totally agree Pete - thatā€™s probably the future

And thatā€™s OK

My classic black boxes will last me until I have to go into the nursing home - which Iā€™m not going to

I own an Atom so Iā€™ll just leave that on show for when those pesky kids come round and hide my black boxes.

Glendaā€™s been joined by largest stick insect Iā€™ve ever seen. My hand is beside which will give you an idea of how big it is. There appears to be a smaller male attached.

Sheā€™ll get 2 for price of one but I think itā€™s even too big for her we just measured it at 37cm.

I was thinking more that Glenda might get eaten!

if that ia a Ctenomorpha gargantua, then they are incredibly rare. Might be worth contacting Maik Fiedel, coordinator of live exhibits at the Museum Victoriaā€™s Melbourne Museum.

You might be right she does have the fork in her tail. I havenā€™t checked this morning to see if sheā€™s still there. If she is I might ring the nature park to confirm, but I donā€™t want her captured though.
