I hope it goes well. Good that you don’t need surgery.

Looks like your left leg.
Are you “right footed”?

I’m right handed but I’m not sure if I’m right footed. I’ve never really thought of that.

Sorry to hear about your accident Pete. Take care and here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

To be pedantic, as an engineer - gutter is the channel between the kerb and the road for water to drain. I’d call this the kerb and channel. A gutter carries water, so it can be on the side of the roof, or the side of the road. Oddly enough, downunder, water flows downhill…

Ah, which foot do you kick with?
If you kick with the other foot where I live (ireland) this also has other meanings!!

I’ve had to think about that and the dog got a nervous, think it’s be my right foot.

We use exactly the same terminology here in the U.K. - as you no doubt know from your days and nights with strippers in the East End.

Funnily enough, we also have a gutter press … :sunglasses:

Maybe we should think of records for Pete to listen to.

How about this for starters

Pete, hope your recovery goes well.
Joking aside I’m sure you are not looking forward to sitting around.
Just wondering what the reaction of Diesel was. Get up you silly arse or full of compassion.

Oh bugger, heal quickly Pete.

They are called gutters down here in Surrey.

Dishwasher broke (again) - Ive given up repairing it.

Need a new one, shops closed.

Buying online simple?

Try to understand the Miele model numbers …

I’m dreading replacing our dishwasher.

Our mains water pipe comes in behind it and joins on to the house pipework with a bloody great big plastic nut. It’s difficult to determine which dishwashers will clear this nut and still be able to go back as far as possible.

We looked at models a while ago and the Miele seemed to be built way better than any of the others. Ours is an AEG but the current models don’t seem to be the quality of our 20 year old model.

Yes. For some models precise drawings are available, but for other brands & models not.

Someone told me that Bosch and Miele are the most reliable brands these days and Bosch even a bit better.

But I decided to splash out and just get an expensive Miele. Hardly any money spend on holidays over the last year it must go somewhere.

Also gutters in Cheshire !

Oh no … !! Rest up and get well soon .

We went with Bosch 40 years ago. My youngest brother went with Miele.

Both are very effective at what they do and very reliable and long-lasting.

Miele seemed to drop their quality about 10 years ago.

Bosch is about half the cost here in the U.K.
