That does my head in … … … The “Right” designation is printed on the left hand side of the sock and vice versa for the other one … … … Aargh!

(Or is it just an upside down / front to back Aussie thing?) :joy:

What do you mean exactly? Presumably he is married to your sister?

No that’d mean put them on inside out :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I assume it is so that the writing is over the correct big toe, that’s how I explain shoes handed-ish to my daughter.

This is becoming way too complicated for this bear of little brain. :thinking:

That’s exactly my point socks aren’t meant to be complicated.

No, its my wifes younger brother. We have seen quite a few gender identity related stories in the family, but this one is very close and I’m all but certain its a good decision. I’m worried.

Though I’m quite liberal - and always thought it is something easy to accept given that I’ve seen and known many people in the lets call it the rainbow community - it has raised a new plethora of questions. E.g. I’ve during my life assumed (never thought about it) that a name is a given. Something you as a parent give your kids and having a good meaning and intention. Now a name change is going to happen too. The only other situation I know of a self-given name change is someone who had a difficult childhood and did not wanted to be remembered about it.

@Pete_the_painter mentioned happiness. Well, happiness is not guaranteed. (s)he is kind of happy & stable at the moment. But what will happen when this all is moving - nobody knows.

It feels odd that one who is looking good, smart, handsome, intelligent, socially skilled - well has more of everything compared to myself is apparently unhappy.

You forgot modesty. :rofl::rofl:

No one’s ever guaranteed happiness, anyway it’s very overrated.

How did your painting go in the country go today?

Yes, got one started. It’s hard when you’re use to working in a studio. Might need to “waste” a few canvases before getting the hang (confidence) of it.

Yep they have them here as well, part of the rip off in the so called vinyl revival. The people that buy them have no idea, no wonder companies making vinyl are rubbing their hands together. Stupid.

He’s obviously a very patient and decent human. Tell him to load my speakers and do a round trip, you 2 can top and tail in the spare room over night.
