For fun you need dreamcatchers, rainmakers are almost serious.

I was going to post that I ordered the little Totem rainmakers, but Iā€™ll be calling my dealer again as the 252 has lost a channelā€¦

Thatā€™s not good, I had a similar issue but thankfully it was resolved with a bit of cable shaking.

Oh noā€¦ā€¦not the dreaded relay, have you tried rca instead of din?

From the NDX2 to the 252? Iā€™m using a SL DIN.

If you had some rca cables and they then worked it would narrow it down to a din relayā€¦ā€¦and some music while you work out a fix, any cheap rca cables from a shop selling televisions etc etc would do to try out.

Letā€™s flip to the other thread please?

Might duck over tomorrow.

Only opens 5 October - youā€™ll be listening to your new speakers by then

Yep back home and setup by then, I thought it was early.

Will probably take a little fiddling around re positioning

There will be a leaflet in box suggesting placement but Iā€™ve found with the Neats just needs a little tweaking

Canā€™t wait for your thoughts mind you they will take at least 200 hours to settle in as per usual

Iā€™m just worried they wonā€™t sound as good as my Royds, thatā€™s a 10k mistake.

You might feel that way to begin but you will get use to them Iā€™m sure

But they will be different for sure

I donā€™t want to ā€œget use to themā€ Iā€™m hoping theyā€™re better. Getting use to something doesnā€™t mean itā€™s better.

My little Totems are on their way :sunglasses:. Mrs Mike seems to have taken a turn and she she trusts me to spend sensibly. Will list old gear for sale this afternoon.

Where the Royds just too big for your new setup?

No, they kept getting better with each upgrade. Just I thought the tweeter was starting to lose it fizz however that might be my hearing.
