The Grand Cafe

Well you to have an open mind, you won’t know if “better “ until the 200 hours are up

However having said that you may love them straight away

That’s 300 albums, might leave my streamer playing when we go out.

Just seen the OBR thread go pop…. Anyone know why? Did it get political?

Inevitably, yes

I shouldn’t need to remind some members to please respect the overwhelming wishes of the membership and of Naim, to keep the forum politics free. Thanks.

I’m very political , I find the Naim pages such a relief…

That thread looked like it wouldn’t last after 3 posts, it’s hard not to mention politics on a thread like that.

Your of course absolutely correct, though I did actually pointed this out on the thread earl on,
Still pity some just can’t resist bringing in overt politics.

What’s OBR, without mentioning politics?

You could just retire and listen to music :sunglasses::notes::+1:

It was about the economic woes in the UK, hard to believe that became political.

Ah yes, I see. Weather is crap here today. It’s the first day of the school holidays so we are just winding the gears back for a few days and chilling out.

School holidays started last week here and it’s a long weekend. Weathers been crap here as well, we’re expecting our 3rd below average temps with a wet summer.

The 40 + temperatures and raging bushfires of 2019/20 are now a distant memory.

Damn! If you’re right, then I’ve been using the word wrong all these years.
Oh well … not the first ime …

I figured it was right as no one has corrected it, but I still don’t know.

No it is wrong it’s spelt timbre.

I really don’t know either. I’ve used it in the past to describe the sound of wood instruments like violins etc., as in the timbre of the violins and the buzz of the strings. Like the wood vibrating and resonating.
But as with many things, I was just guessing …

Right word wrong spelling. Spelling was never one of my strengths.

I did spell it timbre, but I have no idea where I got that from.

I’m certainly not gonna bother you about spelling or grammar. We get enuff of that st from the spelling and grammar police here on the threads. Like, never begin a sentence with ‘And’ or ‘However’.
Gawd … Lifes too short fer dat s
t.
