The Grand Cafe

I don’t see them as that cheap, think they’re cheap compared to our main black boxes. But I do agree they sound fantastic, probably best in their class.

Glad to hear you’re improving @Eoink. Hope the storm passes without too much disruption for our atipodean friends.

Yep Gazza all well, had to go to Gosford yesterday for work. It’s a 5 hour trip there and back and I was RS when I got back.

However I did call into a WV dealer who made me a great offer on a new Tourareg which I am considering, I can have it in 2 weeks. Very tempting.

Getting rid of the jimny?

No, it’ll be Mrs Pete’s car. I love the Jimny around town and in the bush but it’s not made for hi speed expressway driving. We’ve had a Ford Everest on order since July delivery was meant to be February they’re now saying it maybe delayed again. Mrs Pete is driving a Chinese ute at present which we both hate, she’s nicknamed it sluggo.

Lovely to have choices! Out and about myself on Wednesday north of London. Might do a bit of car shopping myself, but have no idea what availability is like. Trouble is I don’t really know what I want to buy. They are going to love me.

Supply is the problem, for some reason the only cars you can get within a few weeks or even months are the more expensive options from Germany.

We had the same with the dishwasher 2 yrs ago. Only the really cheap or really upmarket options were available. Our dishwasher is nicknamed ‘corona’ now.

We’re having a mini break - 3 nights in Paihia. It’s about a 75 minute drive from home. Beats airports and a day to get somewhere :sunglasses:

It means they’ve closed their account and/or left the forum, Graham. Once you leave the forum, you lose your id and can’t access that account ever again. I think there’s a grace period but don’t know how long before Naim locks it for good.

Probably depends entirely on how nicely the individual speaks to Richard about re-joining and whether Richard considers that individual was a net benefit to the community in the past or not…

Of course someone can always join again using an entirely new forum name if they want to and pretty soon everyone who is interested would know who it was unless they tried really hard to hide it.

Momentarily lapse of reason but no regrets. Sometimes it’s good to start afresh. :sunglasses:
