Notice this in Bachs fantasia bwv 542:
When I improvise myself, I do a lot of I-V, I-III moves. Tonica section, dominant section, tonica parallel et cetera. The photos I posted from the fantasia show a nice example where Bach actually used chromatic movement a lot. There is a reason why Chopin saw JS Bach as his great inspiration ā¦

Enjoyed a few days away but back for our local NY celebration and Mrs Pete has to have her wrist X-rayed and finally get a proper cast (they had to wait till the swelling went down after the op).

Watched one of those Police Rescue programmes the other night, must have been from last yearās NYEā¦.Bunch of 20something total idiots as the police were trying to clear the crowds and prevent a crush, with attitude to bootā¦ā¦
And then, when it happens, it will be the Police/authorities faultā¦.
TV and a bottle of Dom sounds far better to meā¦!
