Little Creatures is a pet hate of mine….yet, people flock here to it……
Takes all sorts I guess….
Nighty nite….!
Yep I know that beer - from memory when it first came out so many years ago it was Ok
Don’t know what they did to it but it’s crap now for sure
I respectfully disagree there are some fine craft beers you just have to be picky.
The mass produced beers (except a few) are crap.
No Gazza micro breweries are everywhere the problem is they all think everyone drinks XPAs. There’s a few that do a decent lager or Pilsner but few and far between.
There’s a few good ones on the mid north coast.
Funny I know people who love it but it’s never been a favourite of mine. Have you tried Coopers?
I haven’t….will put it in the list for 3am…!
He has a whiskey barrel…? Hmmm, might have to visit….!
Imo it’s probably the best mass produced beer, there’s a few choices the green and red labels the best.
I’m a coopers beer fan but not gallons of it
At 3am, green and red are gonna look the same…!
I’m in Freo, it’s strangely quiet….don’t they know I’m now one of a kind….?!
I’ve only been to WA and it was on business, Mrs Pete lived there for about 10 years. It might be your accent that’s causing you problems.
Nah - plenty of S.C’s fellow English over there Pete - probably about the same or maybe more than Adelaide
We’ve just got be a little more cautious about who we let in.
Yeah well you dropped the ball letting all us kiwis in
Yes the ditch just isn’t wide enough.
That’s my problem with them as well. I like a nice crisp lager and the odd clean ale, even an amber ale. but they mostly make things like Coffee beers, Fruit beers, Very hoppy IPAs, cloudy Belgian beers, and many more. Fer FS, I just want a regular beer.
Even with Guinness, I love it, but I’ll drink one pint then switch to something lighter. I can’t drink it all night.
Yep they’ll taste of everything except beer. Idiots. I’d love to open a microbrewery I’d bring back proper beers and especially a Pilsner.
A lot of the stuff they make tastes like what the dentist gives you to rinse your mouth.
It simply doesn’t exist. Those things marketed as such might taste like beer, but they’re not.
I think the main issue is that the brew masters at the microbreweries are all staunch enthusiasts. We have the same issue on this forum when people recommend equipment and we get caught up in the ol’ upgrade cycle. One should never heed the words of an enthusiast, as they tend to have tunnel vision or a one track mind.
The beer guys think that they are these inventive beer creators and if the boss told them to just make a good lager or pilsner that the general public would buy thousands of gallons of, they would probably quit.
All the beers I buy are excellent UK and european lagers and ales that they’ve been making for 200 to 400 years. And even tho they have to ship them 8000 frikin miles to get here, they are still 30-40% cheaper than Canadian beers.
Its absurd.
