In JRiver Media Centre I made a new Category - Sh(not allowed)ite.
Some of these were *given to me - others were (very) mistaken purchases.
‘Breakaway’ - Art Garfunkel
*‘The Singles’ - Basement Jaxx
The Age of Plastic - The Buggles
*‘One way Ticket to Hell’ - The Darkness
*‘It Takes a Nation of Tossers’ - Pitman
‘Sigur Rós’ - Sigur Rós (Girl in the record shop looked at this old man approvingly/pityingly ‘Good Choice’.
‘Vampire Weekend’ - Vampire Weekend
Bryan Adams, as well
Des O’Connor
Oasis
Rod Stewart
Queen.
I dislike intensely, the irritating, bombastic music this group spew forth, particularly the vocal parts.
I actually saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1975 and fell asleep, aided by a few beers.
I cannot think of anybody else.
Edit, I forgot about a category I find particularly loathsome
Andrea Bocelli and Il Volo, as well as any other “Pop Opera”, including Pavarotti and Friends, the Three Tenors, and any that I have missed. Having photographed the real thing for a leading Italian Opera house for ten years, in the distant past, I find this lightweight, twee prostitution of a heavy hitting grand music awful. I did not care a great deal for the the real thing either.
Deffo at the top the white stripes , utter garbage
Classical, Opera and Heavy Metal but not necessarily in that order.
I call the song “MemClick”, full name is memories, but never gets that far
Jesus, I could sign every word, letter, comma, punctuation in blood myself.
(As for me, Reggae)
I hate when it happens.
Struggle with Dance/Trance…
I have all of their albums.
Bob Dylan; a good songwriter but that voice…
The news today reminded me of a group I had erased from my mind.
Oasis, the kings of Cool Britannia spin over substance.
Van Morrison
Queen
Manic Street Preachers
Oasis
Could be a longer list ,but just thinking about those four could make me feel miserable.
No offence to any fans of the above intended,we’re all different.
