After three months without a working NDX2, I have just reconnected the streamer again. It developed a fault just the wrong side of 5 years that was correctly diagnosed on here as a relay failure. My thanks to everyone who contributed to the thread I started and to @Richard.Dane for advising me on how to get this sorted with my dealer. Both relays have been replaced and the NDX2 has been reconnected to the Nait50. The Nait50 now has 3 sources connected - CDX2, LP12 and the repaired NDX2.
The latest firmware update has been installed and now it has had a few hours to warm up, it is sounding excellent. I haven’t read the threads on the latest firmware but it feels like a noticeable improvement.
In these uncertain times, I am deeply grateful that Naim are still in business in 2026 and are willing and able to fix their products.
