I have them both on vinyl, also Greensleeves put them both out on a twofer CD a while back which I also have. If you like vol1, vol 2 should float yer boat as well it’s also a bit more rootsier.
I see you’ve invested in digital, I’ve only dabbled a little with a couple of free trials of Tidal, I liked some aspects of the convenience and trying out new sounds but ultimately found it rather distracting and preferred a physical format still, be it Vinyl or CD.
Which platform do you use and do you find Jamaican music/Reggae well represented on it?
Cheers

Whilst on the subject of Coxsone Sound System. Followers of this thread may be interested to know that Levi Roots, of Dragons Den & Reggae Reggae Sauce fame, used to work and was a vocalist on the sound system, he also recorded and released music on his own Sound Box label.
Very interesting interview with him here when he appeared on Desert Island Discs back in 2016.

Levi Roots and his band are playing this Saturday, just down the road from me, at an open air fest … fingers crossed for the weather. :crossed_fingers:

Levi Roots - Red Hot.

I saw Levi and his band on Saturday, at a local open air festival, and they were well received playing their sunshiny, smile-making music.

So why not play this one, from 2009, and don’t worry, be happy. :sunglasses:
