There’s a plethora of tetchy posts lately

Now I like the cut and thrust as much as anyone and don’t take spats on here too seriously (mostly) but today browsing a few threads there seems to be a lot of irritation abounding.

Apparently needlessly tetchy retorts and a lot of umbrage being taken.

What’s to blame?

Blind testing is the only way to settle this.

As long as you use text-to-speech

Well notwithstanding it can make Richard’s life a little tricky it would be boring if we all agreed with each other all the time. I can remember the early days of Hifi Wigwam, now that was riotous as @JonR and @Polarbear will recall.

Vs other places I sometimes go, Naim forum is the most saturated in tekie posts. It becomes sometimes boring because some often tend to believe in their scientific knowledge vs testing a product or giving at least a chance to it. The consequences are that a lot of threads are often cancelled because of the stressful atmosphere inside.
With time I became accustomed to it but sometimes the temptation to react is present.
Despite of that I am much more present here than elsewhere. Hopefully the forum remains attractive for me.
