High resolution FLAC file playback in Tidal Connect has arrived, but it won’t be available for Naim users until Naim releases an update. See:

Lumin rolled this out 10 days ago on their streamers, app and also Tidal Connect, Hi-Res FLAC from Tidal now is very good but not much if any sound quality improvement over Hi-Res MQA based on my listening experience so far.
But good for people who could not fully decode MQA before.
If roon gets their update before Naim, that would be another option to get hires files to Naim streamers. But neither has said anything about expected release dates.
It will be available at some point. Just good to know that Tidal has their update available for the manufacturers that use their Tidal Connect software (I don’t know if it is an SDK or a library, so I use the generic word software)
