Welcome! I’m glad if you like it. Are you a jazz fusion fan? I didn’t know that.

Yes, absolutely. More Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clarke, Billy Cobham, Miles…in the 70’s, and Yussef Dayes, Kamaal Williams, Aaron Parks, Brian Jackson, Jazzanova….now.

If I may, I would try Jeff Lorber albums as well, there are some great ones around such as Impact, Elevate, Prototype, The drop, Galaxy, Now is the time, Forecast and those with the group Jazz Funk Soul such as Life and time and the lastest Simpatico. There are many others too, I just mentioned a few I enjoy. Some in particular have an excellent recording quality.

Drive-by Truckers : Go-Go Boots

This vinyl pressings from 2011 sounds fantastic. Silent vinyl, great mastering, soundstage is wide and all instruments are so clear.

This is a pretty exceptional recording of an orchestra and great, fun music too.

Try ‘A Sussex Overture’ as a sample that showcases a huge range of orchestral effects and colours.

I went on a bit of a John Mellencamp heater a few weeks ago; found these three (recorded all in a row) to sound extremely good to my ears. In the same way that Springsteen’s BITUSA does. Very 80s. Clean, musical, and crisp.

Very difficult to find on vinyl and silly expensive until released on RSD 2024 I think.

Another Chasing the Dragon recording.

Their version of Sing Sing Sing is the best I’ve heard. But amazing sound quality all through.

I sold it some years ago. I regret now.

Wonderful apart from crackles on the last track on side 1. Haven’t returned it because the rest is so good

I have the 1964 Verve edition; the vinyl is flat, without any crackling, and the sound is superb! A magnificent album…
