Turntable against digital ndac/ps combo

I am curious what lp12 setup is substantial better than my digital setup , Naim ndac with non-Naim psu?

Welcome to the forum Ruud. However, Please note forum rules. Discussion of unauthorised modifications to Naim equipment (which includes use of non-Naim power supplies) is strictly forbidden here. At best, their use will not give you the intended performance, and at worst they can cause operational issues, or even damage to connected Naim equipment. Obviously their use will likely invalidate any Naim warranty in the event of damage.

Note I have edited your post accordingly.

You probably need to identify what comes before the nDAC - e.g: (CD transport? Streaming from your own files (format and what device?)? Online streaming (what device, what service(s) and what format).

And the answer will depend on the individual, some simply preferring vinyl and some simply preferring digital.

Thanks Richard.

I stream with a diy streamer raspberry with Ian Canada modules.

Analogue playback provides natural fluidity and warmth, unlike digital listening. My answer will be insufficient, as the subject is a source of much debate; to maintain the same level of energy and definition as a very good digital source with Ndac conversion, I would choose an Lp12 (after No. 91000) with the motor powered by Lingo, Zeus or Amageddon. A Linn Ittok or Ekos tonearm, or Naim Aro, a Microline or Shibata MM cartridge, or better still a low-sensitivity Microline or Shibata MC cartridge, as MC requires more significant phono conversion.

In my experience reputable Linn dealers always hold stock of entry-level LP12s they build up from used / traded-in parts, at a fair price with warranty.

Generally that’s a nice plinth with the Majik subchassis and Cirkus bearing, a built-in psu (Hercules, Majik, recapped Valhalla), an entry-level Linn arm (Akito, Pro-Ject, Jelco), a SolidBase, a MM cart Adikt, Nagaoka, Goldring, AT, and a new or nice clear lid.

Any of those would do in this case I would say.
