Thanks for all your replies but after a long listening session over the weekend I think I’m going stick 
552DR/300/SL2s sound incredible I’ve even scrubbed the idea of a 300DR just in case it upsets the balance.

FWIW I think you’ve made a very sensible decision. When you have a system that sounds ‘just so’ that you are truly happy with then to mess with it can be asking for trouble. It’s very easy to chase the next sparkly looking upgrade but remember the saying - all that glitters is not gold.
